Agreement

By using Tapture, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Tapture is developed by Elie Chahine.

What Tapture Provides

Tapture is an iOS app that lets you save photos, screenshots, and links. The app uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to analyze your captures - extracting text, generating summaries, and organizing content into smart folders. The service requires an internet connection and a Sign in with Apple account.

Your Account

• You must sign in with Apple to use Tapture.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

Your Content

You own the content you save to Tapture. We do not claim ownership of your photos, screenshots, links, or notes. By using the app, you grant us permission to process your content solely to provide the service - this includes sending images and links to OpenAI for analysis.

You agree not to use Tapture to:

• Store or distribute illegal content
• Violate the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the service
• Circumvent any usage limits or security measures

AI Processing

Tapture uses OpenAI's API to analyze your captures. This means your photos, screenshots, and links are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's API has zero data retention and does not use your data to train models.

AI-generated summaries and extracted text are provided "as is." We do not guarantee their accuracy. You should not rely on AI analysis for critical decisions.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Tapture available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We are not liable for any loss caused by service downtime.

Pricing and Payments

Tapture may offer free and paid tiers. Any paid features will be clearly presented before purchase. Payments are processed through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

Limitation of Liability

Tapture is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Tapture at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account is terminated, your data will be deleted.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of Tapture after changes means you accept the updated terms.
