Here is exactly what happens to what you save.
- AI analysis is your choice.Tapture asks before it sends a save to OpenAI to name it and pull out the details. Either way, every save is kept.
- Search runs on your phone.Finding your own saves never needs a server.
- Your library lives with you.On your phone, synced with your iCloud on iPhone, or backed up to your Google Drive on Android if you turn it on. Our servers don't keep a copy.
- Usage data is your choice too.Tapture counts which features you use and when it crashes, linked to your account and never what you save. Turn it off in Preferences.
- No ads. Your saves are never sold.
- Delete your account and your data goes with it.Tapture deletes your account data from its servers.

How do I join the beta?
Leave your email and choose iPhone or Android. When your invite is ready, we'll email you: on iPhone it comes through TestFlight, Apple's app for testing new apps; on Android, through Google Play.
Is it on Android too?
Yes. Tapture is made for iPhone and Android. On iPhone your library syncs with your iCloud; on Android you can back it up to your Google Drive.
What can I save?
Anything you can share from another app: videos, links, photos, screenshots, places and text. You can also record voice notes and write notes right in Tapture.
What does AI analysis do with my saves?
Tapture asks you first. If you say yes, a save is sent to OpenAI to name it and pull out the details, like the ingredients in a recipe or the places in an article. If you say no, every save is still kept in your library.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from the app: open Profile, tap your account, then Delete account. Tapture deletes your library, its iCloud or Google Drive copy, and your account data on its servers.
